We would like to welcome Xavier Martinez to the Western Branch Diesel team. Xavier is a Junior at Old Dominion University, currently working towards a Marketing and Economics Bachelor’s Degree. Prior to enrolling at ODU, he served in the U.S. Army from 2010 to 2013 as a Cargo Specialist (88H), which translates to transportation and logistics in the civilian sector.
Xavier will be joining WBD as Marketing Coordinator, working closely with Bert Haneman, our Communications and Promotions Manager, to promote the company image and support our sales and marketing activity in all markets. Xavier’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: planning and coordinating company events, assisting with the creation and readiness of all marketing and promotional materials, compilation of stories and photos to support WBD’s website and collaborating with various WBD department heads on the promotion of seasonal and regular special promotional programs.
