Industry Veteran Brian Kelly Assumes Power Generation Responsibilities
We are pleased to announce that Brian Kelly will assume full operational responsibility for all Power Generation at Western Branch Diesel as General Manager. As a division leader, Brian will continue to build the market share in power generation through improvement in the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of sales staff, operations and engineering activities for the Western Branch Diesel team.
Brian Kelly began his career in the power generation industry as a Project Manager in 1999. Throughout his career, Brian has also held the roles of Inside Sales, Application Engineer, and an Outside Sales Rep. In 2004 his career experience offered him an opportunity to lead a newly developed power generation sales organization in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. During his leadership, he quickly grew the organization to record sales and profit levels. Brian’s experience and industry relationships now span Eastern North America.
Brian joined the Western Branch Diesel team in May of 2015 as the Sales Manager for Power Generation and brought an extensive background having worked most recently for Cummins Atlantic where he was responsible for their entire generator sales team. Prior to Cummins Atlantic, Brian has worked for Caterpillar and Kohler distributors in sales, project management and sales management roles. Western Branch Diesel’s Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Burnette stated, “We are confident that Brian’s market knowledge and understanding of the power generation business will see continued growth in our power generation market share and meet the goals we have established as an organization and with our partners at MTU Onsite Energy.”
